Most of our work involves the computerised creation of images that cannot be taken in real life, for cost or safety reasons. Our graphic artists and simulation partners use the latest 3D production platforms and human simulation models to generate photorealistic real-world behaviours in both still image and video format, but the first step is always to model the equipment. Industrial safety gear, structures and clothing is almost impossible to find in standard 3D libraries and where present is far from realistic, so we usually create them ourselves from product samples or CAD-CAM files. This also gives us the ability to create generalised interpretations of products, for use when the client needs a high-resolution model but not a recognisable real-world brand such as for training or catalogs.
Use of these free models requires you to have access to commercial software and other base models such as figures. We do not provide support for third-party software products and do not guarantee compatibility with earlier versions.
A smart prop model of an industrial/rock climber's safety helmet, will work in Poser version 5+ or Daz|Studio. Designed for use with standard character headforms, this prop has a high-polygon mesh with all-procedural materials and surface UV mapping. Based on a generic design similar to the now-replaced Ecrin series by Petzl.
