UVSAR and Adobe Systems
We have an intimate relationship with Adobe, both in our daily work and in software development; and our very own Dr Dave Merchant is an Adobe Community Professional and Acrobat User Community Expert working with the Acrobat and Creative Suite product lines.
In addition to the production of training content and product testing for Adobe, we advise our customers on the best ways to implement design and documentation workflows, explaining integration options and new features that lead to cost and time savings, as well as improvements in security and version control. We have particular involvement in the use of PDF for rich media and interactive documentation, as for example with our P³DF range, and the use of real-time review techologies for rapid development of documents within complex approvals frameworks, such as when creating complex documents with legal liability attached.
We don't resell Adobe software, so have no ulterior motive for promoting their products beyond the fact we use them for our own work, and in general we prefer them over the alternatives. We're not exclusively committed to the brand, and being independant allows us to pick and choose - therefore we're in a great position to advise others on doing the same thing.
