Simulators
Delegates must always be safe during workplace safety training, but they need the most realistic experiences possible to assist with skills retention and accurate assessment of competence. When workers are exposed to a dangerous atmosphere or radiation source they will rely on personal detector devices and dosimeters, but these can only be triggered by the hazards they are designed to detect so cannot be used in training exercises.
UVSAR has created a unique series of devices with realistic simulated displays and alarms, but are fully controllable by the instructor using a long-distance radio remote control. This can individually trigger all the usual alarms for each delegate as they proceed through a practical training exercise, and also simulate faults and low batteries. Delegates can learn how to react to alarms while remaining safe at all times.
Due to export and shipping restrictions we can only sell to UK businesses, for professional use in the delivery of training programs. We will not supply
devices if we believe they will be mis-represented as safety equipment.
Assembled to order, typical lead time 1 week. Supplied individually or in pairs, in a rugged carry case. Prices start at only £ 49.95 plus VAT.

GX5 Gas Detector Simulator
A simulated 4-gas detector for confined space training. Full-colour screen with LED, tone and vibration alarms, simulated display of oxygen, LEL, main gas (hydrogen sulphide or chlorine, others on request) and carbon monoxide concentrations.
Remote-control of trace or alarm gas concentrations in any combination.
EMDSIM EM Field Monitor Simulator
A simulated radio frequency electromagnetic field monitor for work at height and telecoms training. Daylight-visible OLED display, tone and vibration alarms, simulated HF and LF field strengths with two configurable alarm levels. In addition to the radio remote, EMDSIM can detect pre-programmed Bluetooth beacons that can be placed in the practical training area. Beacons use extremely low power, but EMDSIM captures their signals to effectively simulate a high power transmitter.
